Poem: Nothing Will Ever Be The Same

I am in so much pain,

Is it all in vain,

There is no joy for me,

Is sad all I can be,

I’m sick and tired,

I am floating and drifting at the same time,

My heart is on fire, but my blood runs cold,

Like a live wire I’m electrical,

Buzzing energy that I don’t have,

Why can’t they see that I can’t,

The rain falls down and a blizzard draws out,

Upon the now quiet town as all our brains rot and we silently shout,

We are the beginning of a new way of life,

We are history in the making,

Nothing will ever be the same,

With all the changes that came,

This is still a problem even if it is faking,

This isn’t about what was the norm or how things used to be,

It’ll all be different now just you wait and see,

We are a new generation with a future that don’t seem so bright,

As long as they know their wrong from right,

Then we will all be fine, because destinies and legacies will all intertwine,

This isn’t the end just the start of our time,

We thought it would be lemons, so we didn’t expect the lime,

History is happening as we speak,

Hope we all find what we seek.
